I’ve been thinking about this one for a long time! It would be perfect for a car-lover’s birthday or a luxury rockabilly wedding. Essentially, it’s a car body panel as invitation.

We’d start with a metal sheet, rounded and finished with a super-deep and extra sparkly automotive paint job. I’m talking cherry red or hugger orange or sea-foam green. The name of the person (or people) of the hour would be mounted to the invitation in classic plastichrome letters. Something like this:

The details would be screenprinted and the whole thing finished off with a beautiful pinstripe detailing.

The depth and sparkle on this thing would be incredible! I think it would look great in an upholstery-leather bag, lined in microfiber.
