We’ve seen calligraphy change a lot over the last few years.
I first encountered what you might call “modern calligraphy” through the work of Mara Zepeda of Neither Snow.
It’s beautiful.
And it’s everywhere.
And, while it’s beautiful and has its place, I’m interested in what’s next.
And I hope that it lies in the kind of work being produced by Emily Snyder.
It’s chaotic and beautiful all at once.
So full of energy and emotion.
And the perfect compliment to these copper invitations.
