I’m so thankful to be located in the middle of a region full of amazing wedding industry talent. There are so many great artists and vendors in the area that I’m proud to call friends. As I’m usually working with clients from other parts of the country, it was an absolute treat to work with some great artists on a locally-sourced inspiration shoot.
For this photo shoot, I created a storybook wedding invitation, bound in a handmade Italian paper and finished with a brown cotton bookcloth. Its twenty-two pages tell the couple’s story, outline the weekend’s activities and share a beautiful love poem by Rumi. One of my favorite features is the incredible pop of orange from the textured flyleaf paper that you can see peaking out from behind the deckled edges. The book was given its own burlap sleeve and sent in a coordinating brown box.
I also created a matching menu on panel clad in the same Italian handmade paper and wrapped in burlap.
These photos were taken by the incomparable Justin DeMutiis for publication in Eco-Beautiful Weddings . Please visit that blog post for a list of all the great vendors involved in this project.
