I intended to simply post a link to this short read, but I think there’s some deep irony in that in which I can’t abide.
The questions were short and the answers nearly as short. And it ended with this:
Why are your responses so brief?
If I had worked less diligently on them, they would have been longer.
It’s a play on Blaise Pascal’s “I have only made this letter longer because I have not had the time to make it shorter” and is so very pertinent in the Age of Twitter.
How, then, to create value and connection in 140 characters or this very short blogpost?
I’m not sure, but let’s keep trying together.
