Occasionally you come into contact with someone and it just clicks.
For some people, it happens all the time. Others, not so much.
I’d like to think I can have an engaging conversation with almost anyone (especially if it’s in-person – body language helps a ton!). Then I meet someone like Mark Gai.
I had the opportunity to join him on his podcast, Speak Brave, recently. We had an incredibly engaging conversation that took some twists and turns I wasn’t expecting – what can I say, I’m an improviser!
Mark and his producer, John Morrow, are fellow Toastmasters. They’re both, shall we say, more seasoned than I am and are great mentors in my journey to communicate more clearly.
We chatted for about half an hour about how I approach life and my work. It all stems from this desire for more meaningful ritual in my life. I find that every time I get the opportunity to talk about this with people, I learn something new about myself and this time was no different.
Listen to our conversation and leave Mark a review, if you’d be so kind.
Till next time!
