plantable luncheon menu

by | Oct 4, 2010 | Letterpress | 1 comment

Yep. The plantable papers from Porridge Papers (the paper we used for Taylor and Whitney’s plantable invitation) have been pretty popular around here! Our local chapter of the Association of Bridal Consultants asked us to create this menu for their monthly meeting recently out of it recently. Not only does lunch sounds delicious, but we think these menus are pretty delectable, too.

The Chapter’s theme was green events and printing on Porridge’s plantable seed papers seemed like a perfect fit.  Porridge always stocks wildflower and herb seeds and will do custom seeded papers upon request.

We think this is the perfect option for green, eco-friendly, or just plain earthy events. When your event is over, you or your guests can plant the paper instead of throwing it away. Of course, handmade paper (especially with seeds in it) is not as consistent in thickness or finish as machine-made paper and we think that’s a good thing!

If you’d like to discuss using plantable paper for your next event, contact us with your ideas.
