This is one of my tattoos.
It’s on my right forearm, just below the elbow.
A fountain pen was an obvious choice for me. It’s led to some ribbing from friends, as you can imagine, but represents this point in my life pretty well. I’m an avid fountain pen user and have become obsessed with the written word (or correspondence, at least).
The dilemma is: what to get on the other arm? I’d like to make this a matching set with another object over a rose on the left arm.
What should I get.?
How about a scroll? With perhaps some writing representing your life now? I.E., children, wife, etc?
“comic sans” written in comic sans font.
i think Matthew R knows what he’s talking about.
This is not funny.
You could play it safe and get this http://www.chloevanessatattoos.com/tattoos/tattoos_38668.html
I’m not good at tattoo advice.
A letterpress
an envelope!
Ha! I actually have an as-of-yet-unfinished ink well now on the other arm. I’m planning on adding my daughter’s name to the forearm soon. Thinking of the work of @neither_snow (http://neithersnow.squarespace.com) or @betsydunlap (http://bdunlap.blogspot.com/).
