I’m reading Dan Zarella’s “Zarella’s Heirarchy of Contagiousness” and it’s got me thinking. The book is about the science of virality in marketing (at least that’s my take). It contains some research-based assertions about the optimal days and times to unleash certain things (blog posts, tweets, etc) in order to produce the best results.
A lot of what Zarella suggests reflects the behavior of 9-5ers. I’d much prefer to reach wedding planners and other event-types who we all know don’t keep a 9-5 schedule. I’m wondering if anyone’s done any similar research for creatives or event-industry web users.
