Much as some gentlemen practice the (slightly gauche) habit of leaving one of their cuff buttons un-done to indicate that they are surgeon’s cuffs (a mark of a fine custom suit)…

I think some designers intentionally build the look of poor registration into their designs in order to provide proof of the multi-run print process used in letterpress and screen printing.  What do you think of this?
