I’m so impressed with the concept behind these cards from Singapore-based Foreign Policy Design. As I’ve mentioned before, I strongly believe in applying Jerry Ueslmann’s principle of rewarding the careful observer to stationery design.

This handmade paper is made from the published works of an arts writer/translator. A fact that’s likely lost on most recipients, but serves as a point of pride for the bearer and an opportunity to spark interesting conversation.

I’ve been working on a similar idea for a top-secret client and can’t wait to finish the proof-of-concept, much less show you the final results!
