people making things

I feel like so many of the process videos that have become popular over the last year or so have featured incredibly good-looking hipsters creating all sorts of hipster design-y things. In fact, I’ve probably featured more than my fair share of them here.

McEwen & Sons True Grits from Jennifer Davick on Vimeo.

It’s so refreshing to see a video of an everyman here. It’s a beautiful testament to the power of storytelling and has me wanting a taste.

Please share some of your favorite process videos in the comments below.

Well said Matthew. Regular people have been hand-making beautiful works of art long before hipsters staked their claim. I recently saw a beautifully shot mini-documentary on the Great Wooden Boats company: http://vimeo.com/26287132
