Quick! Name a type foundry!
“What the deuce is a type foundry?” you ask.
Right – Unless you’re a designer, you probably have no idea who is behind all the cool fonts (read: not papyrus) on the stuff you love to look at. You probably didn’t even know that fonts used to be made out of metal and were actually cast at an actual foundry.
That’s OK. You’d be a total nerd if you knew that.
The thing is: House Industries is more than a type foundry. They make really cool crap for your house, your bicycle, your kids…
I’m not getting paid to say this (Hey, House People, you’re welcome to send me free stuff). They really are a hip company with good intentions (as best as I can tell).
