laser-etched acrylic invitations

by | Mar 2, 2011 | Uncategorized

We like finding new ways to do things. When asked to create a rustic invitation, we went to an untraditional form – laser-etched acrylic. Of course, there’s the traditional way of using acrylic and then there’s our way. We went with a faux bois faced cream acrylic that carried a slightly ironic retro-air to it.

We referenced the event’s design elements – wood folding chairs and chickenwire. Our favorite element is the blind chicken wire on the back that’s easily missed. In the words of the great Jerry Uelsmann, I reward the careful observer.
